A set of clamshell style boxes holds transparencies and serves as an artists portfolio. The photographer's logo was carved into the front cover and embossed under black leather. Diesel truck engine gears are wired through the boards and one is used as a closure when combined with a leather strap. The box is made from multiple layers of non-warping acid-free binders board. All joints are reinforced with fabric.
